Nutrition after Bariatric Surgery
Bariatric surgery is a tool to kick start weight loss and improve associated health conditions however, we understand it is not always easy.

We will also support you in managing other problems that can occur after surgery such as Nutritional Deficiencies, Weight Regain, Weight Loss, Dumping Syndrome, Reactive Hypoglycaemia, Bowel Disturbances, Food Intolerances, Reflux and Regurgitation.
Initial Appointment (£95.00): Virtual appointments are booked for up to 60 minutes and will include a full assessment of your medical history, medication, lifestyle and dietary habits. You will be sent a nutritional summary plan and any other resources you may need after the consultation.

Mark the anniversary of your bariatric surgery each year by booking a comprehensive nutritional review with us (£95.00). After bariatric surgery the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society (BOMSS) recommends that everyone has nutritional bloods monitored on an annual basis for life, to ensure good nutritional status. An annual bariatric surgery appointment will help to reassure you, give peace of mind as well as keep you on track after surgery. This appointment will include a full dietary assessment, vitamin and mineral supplement review, request for appropriate blood tests if necessary, eating techniques, nutritional advice and personal goal setting for the year ahead.
